To ensure your health and safety when coming to Summerland Alliance, the elders will be on hand to ensure the following protocols will be followed:
  • Please feel free to visit outdoors, while maintaining social distancing (i.e.: 6 feet apart)
  • Physical distancing will be in place within the church, along with appropriate signage.
  • Wearing masks is strongly recommended, particularly during singing
  • The service will start at 10:00 am and will last approximately 45 minutes.
  • Please do your utmost to arrive by 9:45 am, so that the service can start promptly at 10 am.
  • Pastor Jim and Anna Kedge will provide worship leadership on two occasions each month.
  • Only 50 people are allowed in the service. An elder will meet people at the door and escort them in one at a time or one bubble at a time.
  • You will be signed in for contact tracing purposes. You will then immediately find a place to sit for the service.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available when you enter. There are also two additional hand sanitizing stations available inside the building.  They all have the same solution in them thanks to Lee Rempel.  One is mounted on the wall outside the kitchen with the other mounted on the wall at the back of the sanctuary to the right of the double doors.
  • Only the handicapped bathroom off the foyer is open. The washroom is to be sanitized after each use.
  • Only the following areas of the church will be accessible:
    • Sidewalk coming into the church
    • Foyer
    • Handicapped washroom
    • Sanctuary
  • When Communion is held, we have the appropriate Covid protocols in place for health and safety.
  • No coffee or refreshments will be served. You are welcome to bring your own beverage
  • If you are feeling at all unwell, please stay home to ensure your own health as well as that of others.
